No child, in our opinion, can thrive without the security of a satisfying meal. In South Africa, only 4/10 children have homes that can welcome them with a meal after a long day of school. In an effort to help fill the tummies of all our children, we have partnered with local food suppliers.
Together, we have put together 3 different types of food parcels which are available for purchase:
1. "The Barney" containing 10 household groceries.
2. "The Cinderella" containing 14 household groceries.
3. "The Pinocchio" containing 21 household groceries.
Whenever you purchase any one of our food parcels, you can select which beneficiary you would like to donate the food parcel to. We do not have a minimum purchase requirement but have seen this initiative thrive with bulk orders.
South African children aged 0-7 years old are often raised by their grandparents resulting from absent parents who struggle with substance abuse disorder. These households rely on government pension grants which are insufficient to cater to the financial needs of growing children. In the circumstances, many young children don't get the benefit of crèche stunting their early childhood development.
Our Fund-A-Learner program allows you to finance a child's crèche fees. This will ensure a child is given a solid educational foundation setting them up for a bright future ahead.
We have a database of crèche profiles each with various pricing structures per month, which you can decide how you would like to support and fund the cost of a learner for an agreed period of time. Contact us for more information about our other ECD community project offerings, based on their respective needs.
At this point, our primary concern is with the youngest children in our community; but, we intend to be of assistance to them throughout all phases of their development and education.
During the course of our Research and Development phase, an interesting possibility presented itself for us to help prospective educators find internships. We are overjoyed to have formed partnerships with TVET Colleges, which enable students in the Early Childhood Development (ECD) phase to acquire practical experience in a variety of ECD centers listed in our database.
